What was American History X about?

Brothers Derek and Danny, played by Edward Norton and Eddie Furlong, are neo-Nazi skinheads who want to further the white power movement.

Though once Derek spends time in jail and is befriended by a Black inmate named Lemont, he learns that maybe his Aryan Brotherhood ways aren’t the best ways, and comes out the other side wanting to show his little brother how wrong they’ve been.
